Welcome to Bible study at the Schrader Lane Church of Christ. An important ministry of the church is helping to shape and mold the Christian personality in each of us through Bible study and related activities. Adults #1 University/Graduate/Prof. Students Room 307/308—EB
The college and graduate student class is for young adults between the ages of 17 and 25. We meet on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Sunday Morning: Engage - Connecting with families within the local congregation and exploring our purpose in the kingdom. How will you serve in the season? Wednesday Night: #REALTALK - Your journey during the college years. Various speakers will discuss topics like; Freedom, Faith, Failures, Challenges, Relationships, Career aspirations, and Work-Life-Balance. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students from all schools are welcome

Adults #2 Men Room 310/311-EB
This class will study lessons from the book of Romans, the longest Pauline epistle in the New Testament. It is an elaborate theological discussion on salvation and the doctrine of justification by faith. The Gospel Advocate adult Bible study guide “Foundations” will be used throughout the quarter.

The class will study the parables Jesus taught his disciples during his personal ministry on earth as recorded in the books of Matthew, Mark or Luke. The class will focus on the application of the principles taught in each parable to the kingdom of heaven.

Adults #4 All Adults Fellowship Hall-EB
The class will continue its focus on things that help us realize our vision of being the "Well Connected Church." In addition to completing our study of the quest for "Genuine Worship," "Leading Others to Christ," "Loving One Another," "Studying God's Word," "Being Engaged in the Work of The Church and "Impacting the Community," we will delve into the mindset of individuals and dive into the mindset of God to understand how weindividually and collectively overcome barriers to continuous spiritual growth.

Adults #5 Young Adults Room 305/306-EB
The class will focus on evangelism, specifically ways we can use some of the strategies taught by Jesus to evangelize the community surrounding Schrader Lane. We will also examine whether we should focus on an evangelistic style which is transactional or relational. Our goal will be to engage the community using the evangelistic principles found in the New Testament. The class will look to see how our previous lessons on worship and prayer tie into our efforts to evangelize.

This class is for adults who placed membership with the Schrader Lane Church within the past twelve months. Its focuses on fundamental doctrines of the church and the role of each new member in the Schrader Lane church.

Adults #6a New Converts Room 226/227-EB
This class is for adults who were baptized within the last year. The purpose of the class is to help new members become grounded in the basic principles of Christian living and in the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.
Paulette Thompson
Adults #7 Ladies Class Auditorium-WB
The class will continue to focus on difficult challenges many women face in their journey through life. A book by Jo Ann Mills titled, “Secret Storms,” will be used to help the class navigate and discover solutions to real life troubles from a God centered perspective. Teaching will be shared by members in the class who will be responsible for planning and presenting the lessons.

Adults #8 Couples Training Room-EB
Title: “Becoming: Allowing God to Prepare and Shape Us Toward Our True Calling”
The purpose of this class is to help us examine and discover the “Big Idea” for our lives through examination of God’s word. The aim is to better recognize signs and directives from God that indicate a time for movement in a new direction. We will explore ways of standing firm on our Christian principles without compromise despite the challenges imposed upon us in contemporary times. We will discuss ways of working with people who do not understand or share our beliefs. We will explore ways of making professional choices and decisions that are in tune with our central purpose.

Grief Share 316-EB
Grief Share includes three inseparable elements to help one recover from the deep hurt of loss. These elements include a video seminar, group discussion, and a personal workbook of Bible study with applications. Each session is grounded in scripture and encourages each participant to continue building a personal relationship with God.

Peaceful Hearts
This class provides a safe confidential environment for women to develop peace of mind when dealing with matters of the heart. The classfocuses on skills to cope with stress, anxiety, and depression. Sessions are conducted at 4:00 pm on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Safe Haven (SH)
SH is for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. This group prays, share information, provide spiritual support, and encouragement. SH meets the 4th Sunday, 4:00-4:45 pm.
